Yesterday my iron died right in the middle of a project. Argh! I can't live without my iron! I can't sew without my iron! This is a serious situation!! It's enough to make this sewer frantic. So today I have to go shopping for an iron. My DH researched them on-line last night. Seems irons today have a 2 year expected life span. This iron has been my helpmate for about 7+ years of daily use. It replaced one I had for 15+ years.

I bought an iron last November and it already died. It has a swivel ball cord thing and I think there is something wrong in there. Since I can't live without an iron I bought a Rowenta and this one better last a few years.
Need that iron when you are making blocks, no doubt about it. I have a Rowenta too and mine is about 3 years old. I really like it.
Don't you just love it? It's Murphy's law isn't it? I love my Rowenta. Let us know what you get.
Nothing can replace a good iron exept another good iron. I have 2 bad ones in the closet. My best one is broken so I have to turn it off and on by plugging it in but it was pricey so I'm not giving in until it totally kicks the bucket. My spare is ok. Just ok.
Sorry about your iron. I couldn't help but, noticing the wonderful pin cushions in the picture. I especially like the stacked one!
Buggar...it would be a bit like someone had cut off my right arm if my iron died...not quite as drastic as it would be if my computer died though!!! Hope you got your new iron today!! Cathy
