lost and found

Our mornings are quite crisp now and the days much cooler.  Time to change out blankets and quilts to get ready for winter.

That’s when I discovered this quilt.

I finished the top almost a year ago and had it quilted and then, for some reason or another, it was put away and forgotten…left unbound.

But that’s all taken care of now and it’s sitting in our family room ready to be used this winter.

While I was in the binding mood, I kept right on going and finished this baby quilt too.  This one won’t be forgotten in the linen closet.

Doesn’t it just feel so good when you finish a quilt!

I'm so glad that lovely quilt is out of the closet! And gorgeous baby quilt - love the corners.

Glad to hear your DH is doing so well.

2 awesome finishes!

We don't have to drag our quilts out in the winter because we use them 365 days a year. Nothing like covering up with a quilt while watching tv... :)

The colors in the 1st quilt are fantastic and cheerful - great for drab winter days. The baby quilt is very sweet too. Both quilts are too wonderful to be tucked away in a closet. It must feel great to put 2 more quilts into working order.

Good for you! I feels GREAT to finish a quilt, but unfortunately, I don't get to experience that feeling nearly enough.

Very pretty quilting! I have an unfinished "Baby Nines" quilt in my stash, too! It was sooo much fun to make that I always thought I'd make another. I'm glad yours is finished.

Lovely blog, Robbie Marie
