I’ve long admired Natalie Jo’s blog, Picalilli Days. She makes the most beautiful pincushions and this year she was so generous to run a tutorial on how we could make one of our own.
So I tried it.
It was fun but it wasn’t easy.
I really like my little girl pincushion
but it’s probably the only one I’ll ever make.
Besides a wonderful talent, Natalie Jo has a lot of patience. I admire her skills even more now.

It is darling. It reminds me of the dolls that my grandmother used to make with crocheted skirts.
It's an adorable pincushion! Love the doll. Very sweet.
Oh thank you a million times over...you have absolutely made my day! She is beyond lovely and has put my face to task with a smile that just won't go away. Wishing you and your darling pincushion girlie many, many happy sewing adventures!

what a fantastic job! I came across her tutorial yesterday & downloaded it, all 15 steps! lol! it does look like it'd take some time to put together but worth it in the end

The pincushion is so cute, but it does look like a lot of work!
I do not think, in my 54 years, I've ever seen anything this darn cute. Seriously. This is so so so amazing.
