Now that Christmas sewing is over, it’s great to be back at work on my Dear Jane blocks. They are such sweet little things. I started to plan my progress for finishing them all but quickly put a stop to that kind of thinking. Instead, I am going to just relax and enjoy my time with each block, love the process and not worry about anything else. So far they are fun and I want to keep it that way.

Happy Quilting!

OMG Annette, they're beautiful. Little mini works of art! I really love your colour choices. Isn't this quilt so much fun and satisfying at the same time? I don't think I've done any of these blocks yet :)
Lovely blocks and I love the colors too!
Thats my kind of thinking when I do a project of this magnitude! Relax and enjoy the creative process!
Your blocks look great!
Great attitude, Annette, especially with a project of that magnitude. I'm sure that now the journey will be more enjoyable.
They're just darling, aren't they?
Oh, I love these blocks. They make me happy and think of spring. I'm so envious of your attitude, I do think that's the way to go! I'll be eager to see more.
I really like your Dear Jane blocks and that they are made with so many colors...I bet that does make it a lot of fun!
I plan on making the Dear Jane blocks eventually (do not even have the book yet!) and I really love the bright colors you are making yours in! Thanks for the inspiration! :o)
Just beautiful! I am in awe of all of you that are doing this project.
Keep up the good progress!

Excellent DJ blocks! The bright happy fabric will make the journey a fun one.
i love dear jane quilts... maybe i'll make one.... one day!!
You are good. You are really good. And I know how good because I've made some of these and mine are Not like yours.
Sweet is right! And I love how you set up/framed your photo of them. That appliqued red block on top is my favorite of this bunch, although I imagine it was the hardest to do. Good for you, not pressuring yourself to finish these on a timeline. Blocks that sweet need to be savored, not rushed through.
Love your blocks. They do look fun to make.
I love the fabrics you are using for your Dear Jane. I've wanted to make one for the longest time - it's just another quilt added to the list!
