I’ve been thinking I needed a new pincushion but wanted something interesting to work with. When I came across this candle holder, I knew right away I had found what I was looking for. It was a fun, quick project and turned out just the way I wanted.
And today I brought out these pretty little pieces of Jo Morton fabric that I bought way last year. I want to use them for a small project.
Right now I’m in the mood for a few small and simple projects.

Your new pincushion is so cute! I love making them too, although I only use my magnetic one - LOL! I've been on a kick making small quilts too - you should come by and take a look!
Oh I love your new pincushion! The little bird is adorable! Great fabrics too. ;-) I worked on smaller projects today and it felt great for a change. Have a happy Sunday!
Turning this candleholder to a pincushion was so smart. Love it. And your new fabrics are wonderful.
Clever and pretty way to use the candle holder.

The candle holder makes a unique pincushion. Sort of a spring/summer look with the bird.
LOVE your new pin cushion! And the Jo fabrics are lovely, of course. I am all excited about small projects also! Have fun!
How clever; the bird is so sweet!
That is awesome. I am in desperate need of a new pin cushion. You can take that as a hint if you are so inclined. Let me think now, a pin cushion is a tiny, little project. Just sayin'. . .

Love, love, love your pincushion! Your quilts are awesome as well. :)
