Relax and Enjoy

 001

Now that Christmas sewing is over, it’s great to be back at work on my Dear Jane blocks.  They are such sweet little things.  I started to plan my progress for finishing them all but quickly put a stop to that kind of thinking.  Instead, I am going to just relax and enjoy my time with each block, love the process and not worry about anything else.  So far they are fun and I want to keep it that way.

  2. OMG Annette, they're beautiful. Little mini works of art! I really love your colour choices. Isn't this quilt so much fun and satisfying at the same time? I don't think I've done any of these blocks yet :)

  20. Sweet is right! And I love how you set up/framed your photo of them. That appliqued red block on top is my favorite of this bunch, although I imagine it was the hardest to do. Good for you, not pressuring yourself to finish these on a timeline. Blocks that sweet need to be savored, not rushed through.
