Now that Christmas sewing is over, it’s great to be back at work on my Dear Jane blocks. They are such sweet little things. I started to plan my progress for finishing them all but quickly put a stop to that kind of thinking. Instead, I am going to just relax and enjoy my time with each block, love the process and not worry about anything else. So far they are fun and I want to keep it that way.
your blocks look wonderful! What a great start!
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting!

ReplyDeletei love dear jane quilts... maybe i'll make one.... one day!!
ReplyDeleteYou are good. You are really good. And I know how good because I've made some of these and mine are Not like yours.
ReplyDeleteSweet is right! And I love how you set up/framed your photo of them. That appliqued red block on top is my favorite of this bunch, although I imagine it was the hardest to do. Good for you, not pressuring yourself to finish these on a timeline. Blocks that sweet need to be savored, not rushed through.
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. They do look fun to make.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics you are using for your Dear Jane. I've wanted to make one for the longest time - it's just another quilt added to the list!
