Turning all those tiny 1” scraps into this.

It’s going quicker than I thought.

It does help to be listening to this while I work …such a good book!!

  8. Your beautiful quilt top has inspired me. I pulled out my bin of 2" squares that I had already cut up and started making 9 patch blocks. My design wall was filled with them in just 2 days.

  9. Hello Annette, I just wanted to let you know that I found your blog through pinterest - it was the red and white nine patch with the applique on the border baby quilt. Gorgeous! I have been browsing your older posts and have thoroughly spending time with you. Your mini wall had me drooling - I really need to make more mini quilts and get the rest of the ones I do have on the wall!

  14. Wonderful quilts! I love them all and the little airplanes are soooo cute! I have to tell you that I'm so glad to read that you listen to audio books when your sewing! My two greatest passions are reading and sewing and with audio books, I discovered a way to do both at the same time. I don't like listening to music when I sew and I can't watch TV or even listen to a program while I'm sewing...but bring on the audio books. I need to get back into my sewing room too after over 2 months away from it. I had what I thought was a Stye but it wouldn't heal up and it really made my vision blurry so I finally got it looked at and they did and small surgical procedure on it to open up the offending lump on my eyelid and my vision is clearing up nicely. I had hoped to sew today, but found it would be a few more days, but I can feel the sewing therapy coming and I can't wait. Hugs...
