charmed!

007

Look at what can be done with just two charm packs!

especially with my pretty Cinnamon Spice charm packs…

…and a little bit of cream colored fabric.

I have the perfect spot for this runner on a cupboard I inherited from my grandmother.  A very special place.

I got the idea from Lori Smith’s book…

on page 42…

making a few changes to fit my needs.

This has been one of my very favorite books!

More snow here….but this time it seems so light and pretty. This is the view out of my sewing room window, right above my sewing machine and looking right into the top of our cherry tree. I love this view…just a couple of weeks ago it was glowing golden with all the fall leaves. So beautiful!

Such a cute little quilt. A friend of mine had Lori’s book and after seeing it I had to order one for myself.

Very charming (and beautiful) indeed - and a lovely way to spend some time, sewing and watching the snow! I have that book too, and love it - but you have made more out of it than me!!

I can't believe you made that beautiful table runner with two charm packs! It's a stunner. I need to look into that book. You really did a fantastic job.

Snow, oh my, I hope I don't see snow until Christmas Eve, although yours looks very pretty.

I like your runner, it has so many reds that it's simply yummy! Your use of the applique design is well suited for the runner, too. Neat project!

Beautiful runner. The colours are so rich it's going to look great wherever you put it. I've been pondering over that book for a while.... reckon I need to order it now.

So glad to see you are back! I thought maybe you were caught up in the Sandy aftermath. I love the runner and Cinnamon Spice is certainly a great choice. Thanks for the tip on the book - I'll have to look for it.
