One down…

I recently finished 5 quilts and took them all in a bundle to my quilter, JoLynn.  She is amazing!!  She finished them all in one week.  If you click on the album you can get a better look at how beautiful her quilting is.

I finished binding the first one last night.  Such a great feeling!

And look what Mr. Sunshine noticed while I was taking my pictures… my miniature Dresden quilt sitting in the background.  I didn’t do that on purpose.  But what a fun contrast.

Now on to the next quilt.  I kind of enjoy binding quilts.  But I’m questioning the fun of doing 5 at once.

Keep going Annette!

It's so pretty, what a great accomplishment! I like the quilting lines you shared, also. You are going to be so happy in the finish of those bindings I'm sure! So, is this one a keeper, or a gift?

I had noticed the mini Dres right away... it looks so sweet on the chair next to your georgeous newly finished Dresden. I really love the pattern with the alt block on your quilt! Thanks for sharing... can't wait to see all of your others too!

This quilt is so pretty. You have inspired me to get mine done. It feels good when you can send several to your quilter. Great job.

It's beautiful, Annette. I just love the setting you chose...so different from the "traditional" way that Dresdens are usually done.

I too love sewing the binding on a quilt but I think that we are more the exception to the rule. To me it's a peaceful way to put the wonderful hours of joyous labor to bed.

Can't wait to see the other four!

I LOVE this one!!! I can't imagine getting 5 finished all at once!! But then again, I would have about 12 if I would decide on borders for them!!!

what a beautiful dresden plate. I've just finished the plates for one and need to applique them. I love what she did for the quilting.
