tiny pieces of fabric… too pretty to toss

005

Yesterday morning I sorted through all my tiniest scraps

006

And trimmed them up nice and neat to about one inch (give or take a bit)

013

And by the end of the day they had become this.  An 18 x 24 inch quilt.

And I went to bed happy.

  19. I have been saving teeny, ti y scraps on the 30s quilt I am currently doing. Great idea for them! I cant toss anything usable, even save my selvages since a yer ago. Before i found all these quilts made with them, i was using them for tomato ties in the garden. Lol
Love the magnet idea also. Ive really enjoyed catching up on all your creative beauties. Your blog is lovely.
